Editorial policy
Facts come from data, not from writing
Every fact on a title page (release dates, runtime, cast, director, certificate, country of origin, streaming platforms, OTT release date, seasons and episodes) is shown directly from structured data supplied by TMDB and JustWatch. None of these facts are typed by hand or generated by AI.
How summaries, verdicts and FAQs are written
The spoiler-free summary, “watch it for / skip it if”, parental guide, verdict and FAQ on each page are written with the help of an AI language model. The model is given only the facts listed above and the official synopsis, and is instructed not to add anything that is not in those facts: no invented box office figures, awards, songs, dubbed versions, platforms or dates. The length of a summary is limited by the length of the official synopsis, so short synopses produce short summaries.
Automatic checks before a page goes live
- A page is only published if the title has a synopsis, poster, release date and at least three credited cast members.
- Generated text is scanned for filler phrases and speculation (“expected to”, “likely”, “rumoured”); text that fails is rewritten or the page is held back.
- When the underlying facts change (for example a new streaming platform), the written content for that page is regenerated so it never contradicts the data.
- A film is only described as Indian, Pakistani or any other nationality according to its listed production countries.
Parental guide
The parental guide is a general indication based on the film’s certificate and genre, not a scene-by-scene review. Please check the official certificate before watching with children.
Ratings and rankings
Lists are ranked by IMDb rating where available, otherwise by TMDB user rating with at least 20 votes. We do not accept payment to include or rank any title.
