Dhokha story (no spoilers)
Dhokha opens in Mumbai after September 11, 2001. Zaid Ahmed Khan, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, lives a wealthy life in an apartment at Shanti Kutir on Juhu Tara Road. A terrorist strike at a club kills 20 people and critically injures several others, putting the police on alert. Zaid is summoned to Police Headquarters to identify a body, and to his shock it is his wife, Sarha. She was not a victim but a suicide-bomber. While trying to put his life together, Zaid comes across evidence that Sarha may have had a hand in the killings. Intrigued, he decides to travel to Nasik to find out what really happened, whether his devout Islamic wife was really a terrorist or the victim of a deep-rooted conspiracy. The film is a Hindi drama, action, romance and thriller, and its tagline is 'Some betrayals are never forgotten.'
