Mahavatar Narsimha story (no spoilers)
Mahavatar Narsimha is a 2025 Kannada-language animated action-fantasy drama directed by Ashwin Kumar. The story centres on the demon king Hiranyakashyap, who declares himself a god and demands that all worship him. His own son, Prahlad, refuses and stays devoted to Vishnu. That defiance sets up the film's central conflict: a father's tyranny against a child's faith. Vishnu answers the challenge by taking the form of Narsimha to confront Hiranyakashyap. The voice cast includes Aditya Raj Sharma as Hiranyakashipu and Haripriya Matta as Prahlad, with Harjeet Walia voicing Lord Narsimha. The film runs 131 minutes and carries a U/A 13+ certificate. It is the first entry in the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe and was released in theatres on 25 July 2025.
