Our verdict
Sumathi Valavu mixes horror, comedy, and drama around a haunted curve in 1990s Kerala, with a cast led by Arjun Ashokan. The mystery of Sumathi's death and the road's history drives the plot, though the tonal blend may not suit everyone. It's a solid pick for Malayalam horror-comedy fans who enjoy period settings and ensemble casts.
