Waltair Veerayya story (no spoilers)
Waltair Veerayya is a Telugu action drama about a notorious smuggler named Waltair Veerayya. He is hired by CI Seethapathi and travels to Malaysia with the stated mission of kidnapping Solomon, a drug mafia leader who fled India after causing havoc on RAW agents and local policemen. Veerayya manages to overpower Solomon, who is fiercely protected by his ruthless gang-lord brother Kaala. The situation takes a turn when Veerayya reveals that he shares a turbulent past with Kaala and with ACP Vikram Sagar, an officer determined to end Veerayya's smuggling activities. The film blends action sequences with a dramatic story of old grudges and shifting alliances, set against a backdrop of crime and pursuit. The tagline '#Poonakaalu Loading...' hints at a mass-action tone, and the narrative moves between India and Malaysia as Veerayya's mission uncovers deeper conflicts.

Our verdict
Waltair Veerayya is a standard action drama that leans on Chiranjeevi's star presence and a twisty past involving Ravi Teja's ACP. The 160-minute runtime may feel long, but the Malaysia setting and confrontations with Kaala keep the genre elements in place. It's a decent watch for fans of Telugu mass action, though others might find the plot familiar.
