Our verdict
Hunkkaar: The Roar is a compact six-episode crime drama that puts a cult leader's assault accusation at its centre and lets the fallout drive the story. With Fatima Sana Shaikh, Raghubir Yadav, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in key roles, it is built for viewers who want a serious, morally tangled case rather than easy answers. It is not a light watch, but the single-season format keeps it focused.
