Jana Nayagan story (no spoilers)
Jana Nayagan is a Tamil action drama directed by H. Vinoth, starring Vijay as Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, known as Vetri. The film sets up a clash of ideologies: one side stands for the people, the other feeds on control. Years after their paths first collided, a child's silent fear reignites the past and pulls a former police officer into a conflict much larger than personal revenge. Pooja Hegde plays Kayal, while Bobby Deol appears as John Himler and Amrish Poojari. The cast also includes Mamitha Baiju as Vijayalakshmi 'Viji', Priyamani as Sheela Rani, Prakash Raj as Roja Rangasamy, Gautham Vasudev Menon as Srikanth, and Narain as Kaleel. With a runtime of 183 minutes and an A certificate, the film carries the tagline 'The Torch Bearer of Democracy' and is built around tense confrontations and ideological stakes rather than straightforward revenge.
