Sheesha story (no spoilers)
Sheesha is a 2005 Hindi drama, romance, and thriller directed by Ashu Trikha. The story follows Sia Malhotra, a wealthy businesswoman living in Bangkok with her twin sister Ria, who is deaf and dumb due to a neurological disorder. Sia meets Raj Oberoi, and they fall in love. Despite their efforts, attempts to cure Ria are unsuccessful. When Sia plans to travel to the United States for business, she worries about Ria's care. She decides to marry Raj so he can move in and look after Ria. Raj agrees, and they obtain a marriage certificate from Pattaya City Hall. Sia then departs for America. Upon her return, she becomes a suspect in the brutal killing of a female Caucasian named Diana and is not permitted to leave Bangkok. She also faces further trauma and shock when she discovers that her husband has been sexually molesting her handicapped sister. The film explores themes of trust, betrayal, and family ties within a tense, dramatic atmosphere.
