Stree 2 story (no spoilers)
Set after the events of Stree, the town of Chanderi is haunted again, this time by a headless entity called Sarkata who abducts women. Vicky, along with his friends Bittu, Jana and Rudra, must save their town and loved ones from this new terror. The film blends horror and comedy as the group faces a supernatural threat while dealing with the quirky dynamics of their small town. Shraddha Kapoor returns as the unnamed woman, and Tamannaah Bhatia joins as Shama. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is a sequel to the 2018 hit Stree and part of the Stree Collection. With a runtime of 143 minutes, it offers a mix of scares and laughs, staying true to the franchise's tone.

Our verdict
Stree 2 delivers more of the horror-comedy mix that made the first film a hit, with the returning cast slipping back into their roles. The new threat of Sarkata adds a fresh twist, though the sequel relies on familiarity with the original. It's an enjoyable watch for fans of the franchise, but newcomers might want to start with Stree first.
