Skip it if

You prefer films with a single clear hero—this one spreads focus across four major characters chasing money.
You want a pure comedy or a pure thriller; this one deliberately mixes both tones.
You are looking for a long, epic narrative—98 minutes leaves little room for deep subplots.

Our verdict

Tamil Rockers is a brisk comedy-thriller that uses four money-chasing characters to make a point about greed and human choices. Premji Amaran's dual role as actor and composer adds a personal touch, and the 98-minute runtime keeps things moving. It won't reinvent the genre, but it's a reasonable pick for a light, tense watch.
